So we're here to give you some tips and tricks from around the Witcher world. First up: an explainer on how to find the Master Armorer In The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt
Where To Find Master Armorer In The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt
After a while of roaming around the game you'll start to see dialogue options for Geralt to enquire into the whereabouts of a master armorer. When asked, most people will give the name Fergus Graem a dwarf who resides within Crow's Perch.
You'll find Fergus and his assistant Yoana beside the notice board and upon requesting light but durable armour, the dwarf says no such thing is possible. However, there's clearly something fishy going on here and Yoana interrupts the conversation. The assistant instructs you to find the tools in a forge in a cave on the south side of the island of Undvik.
Head to Undvik
Once you set off to Skellige and find the cave in Undvik, which is located next to the Clan Tordarroch Forge signpost, you'll encounter a pretty hefty level 26 ice troll who you'll have to defeat first. You'll find the high-quality smithing tools in a chest beside the fireplace.
When you return to Fergus, you'll be rudely interrupted by a Nilfgaardian general enquiring about a new suit of armour. While those two talk, Yoana will reveal to Geralt that she's actually the master armorer. She'll give instructions to find an archgriffin acid gland she needs for the armour. A marker will be placed on your map to find the archgriffin.
Head to the Highlands
When you get to the marked location, which is north of Crow's Perch, you'll find griffin feathers and dead victims of an attack. The nest is not too far away on a hill. Take down the level 26 beast and take the Archgriffin acid gland. This will also complete the Griffin from the Highlands contract if you collect the trophy from the Archgriffin's corpse.
When you get back to Yoana, she'll finish off the armour. The general will also return to collect his armour from Fergus who has made a pretty shoddy attempt. The general will then ask to put Yoana's armour to the test to see if it's the real deal. If you get Geralt to agree to the test, he'll put on the suit and be shot at with a crossbow which doesn't even leave a dent. The forge is handed over to Yaona and, as a reward for your help, she'll craft you the Witch Hunter's Armor.
You'll be able to go back to Yoana from now and she can craft master quality armour pieces for you.
There you go! Enjoy your armor for your future battles.
