The season 4 week 5 challenges on Fortnite have arrived, with Epic Games switching back to the old format of having the challenges go live on a Thursday. The challenges include deal damage with SMGs to opponents and search chests in Dusty Divot but the one that you might need a little help from us on is 'Follow The Treasure Map Found In Greasy Grove'. So without further ado, here's where you can find it and collect those 10 battle stars.
How To Follow The Treasure Map Found In Greasy Grove
As always, if you want to take a shortcut you can just head straight to where the treasure is located - as we've documented below - but if you want to really challenge yourself at actually try work your way over from the where the map is located, then here's where you can find it in Greasy Grove.
You need to go to the middle building on the eastern side of Greasy, and there you will find the map inside one of the bedroom. Here it is, courtesy of YouTuber 'Flamm'.
As you can see the map looks like a skull, so to follow tthe treasure map found in Greasy Grove you need to go to the mountain with the secret layer. Never heard of it? You probably haven't. Otherwise it wouldn't be a secret!
The layer is located inside one of the mountains to the east of Snobby Shores.
So if you look at the back of the layer, you'll see the walls resemble a face and it's on the face's nose that you'll find the icon. Again, here's YouTuber 'Flamm' picking up his icon.
It goes without saying at this point that you must die or win the game to complete the challenge, so don't simply decide to quit to the main menu but if you want to go quickly then it's easy in this one because given you're so high up the mountain, you'll probably meet with death should you decide to jump off.
