T-Pain has revealed that he is currently working on GTA VI, but it is unclear what his role in the development of the game will be.
However, his decision to get on board with Rockstar has had some unfortunate consequences for the singer.
Certain mods allow players to join GTA V online role playing servers, for gamers who want the most immersive Grand Theft Auto experience possible, as it "allows players to create and live out their own unique lives and stories in the streets of Los Santos."
T-Pain is one of these players, but modding is, of course, frowned upon by Rockstar and they asked him to cease his role playing ways.
"I used to be on NoPixel," T-Pain said,
Then I started working on GTA VI, and they told me I couldn't do RP anymore because it kind of goes against... they had this whole speech, like, 'What if somebody took your album and re-recorded it, and more people were listening to that,' and I'm like, 'Okay, I kind of get that, but I was having a good time. Alright that's fine.

T-Pain may be my favorite human.
Released Platinum albums with countless hits, and now he's just doing side-quests.
He started drifting, streaming on Twitch, and now he's flexing his vocals on other artists' songs, all while touring and recording more music. pic.twitter.com/Kkhka4srx3

"Then I started working on the game with them and then they teamed up with the people that make the RP sh*t," he added
"And I'm like, 'Wait a minute, what? What the f**ck?...Y'all tell me I can't do this sh*t and then you team up with the people that enable the RP?"
