The Fortnite OG update - that dropped yesterday - has taken the battle royale gaming world by storm, allowing players to nostalgically relive memories from the early days of the game.
The update brought back the original map and saw record numbers of players, although this also lead to huge queues, with the developers trying to manage user demand and make sure the servers didn't crash.

When Will Fortnite OG Update End?
With the initial launch over, there remains the question of what comes next for Fortnite OG.
The update is currently scheduled to run from November 3 to December 2, when the new season will begin.

We found this trio playing football at the stadium, we joined and then another trio joined too. We spent the entire game playing then before the final circle we went in different paths so we wouldn't kill each other. pic.twitter.com/pqS2IqGG8D

In the meantime, Fortnite OG will be updated in phases, to replicate the changes in the early days of the game.
In its current form, Fortnite OG is roughly a replica of the fifth season of the game's first chapter, and throughout November, the updates will go as follows:
November 9th – Chapter 1: Season 6 Update
November 16th – Chapter 1: Seasons 7 and 8 Update
November 23rd – Season 1: Chapters 9 and 10 Update
However, despite the fact that Fortnite OG is currently scheduled to end on December 2, there is still plenty of time to reverse this decision, as the developers may want to continue to capitalise on the huge drive in numbers it has experienced.
