The release of this years annual update in the most addicting game on Earth is almost upon us, and following the release of the Football Manager 2016 beta, the talent spotters over at FMScout.com have compiled the list that everybody wants to see..
The 'Wonderkid' list.
Now, these guys take their wonderkids very seriously, so they have compiled a staggering list of over 800 wonderkids, and we have picked out the top ten across all positions with the highest potential in the game.
Important: The rating figure used is that of a player's potential, having been assessed and scrutinised by the FM Scout experts to give an idea as to how good a player can become.
81+ = All-time elite player.
These are the best players they found in the game:
Avdijaj Donis (18) - ST - Schalke - 86
Albanian youngster Avdijaj Donis turns into an absolute monster of a striker, but his early wage demands mean he will be unlikely to join your Huddersfield (or similar level) side on loan from the get-go.
Bernardo Silva (20) - CAM - Monaco - 86
One of the more expensive names on this list, you'll have to spend top dollar to bring him in, but he's worth it.
Martin Odegaard (17) - CAM - Real Madrid - 86
Easily the most predictable list, the majority of FM players will send for a scout report on Odegaard before even reading the welcome message from the chairman.
Leon Goretzka (20) - CM - Schalke - 86
The second (and not last) reason why Schalke are a seriously tempting side in FM this year, Goretzka has been a wonderkid in FM and FIFA before, so some managers will know what they are getting, an all-rounded midfield legend to build a team around.
Sergi Samper (20) - CDM - Barcelona - 86
There's definite hype growing for Samper in real life, and FM is no different as the young Barca midfield man will become the next great to emerge from La Masia. Tough to pry him away, but you're sorted if you can.
Joshua Kimmich (20) - CDM - Bayern Munich - 86
Bayern were never going to be absent from a list of top wonderkids, and their young midfield powerhouse is the pick of the bunch. He'll want to be paid handsomely, and you'll need to get in before he finds his way into the first team.
Gianluigi Donnarumma (16) - GK - AC Milan - 87
You may have seen his ridiculously fresh face make his full debut for AC Milan in recent weeks, and in FM he is the next Gigi Buffon.
Max Meyer (19) - CAM - Schalke - 87
Schalke are possibly the most tempting side to start an adventure with on FM 16 and Max Meyer is man who will drive you to the top. Sort out that defence and you could build a dynasty in Germany.
Luca Clemenza (17) - CAM - Juventus - 87
There is a lot of talent in Serie A, but there is no finer prospect than Juve's attacking magician Clemenza. Get in early with a bid and he could be the bargain that defines your game-save.
Anthony Martial - ST - Manchester United - 89
Holy shit.
An 89? Anthony Martial is the truth in Football Manager 2016. United fans will be dying to get a career underway, and those who manage other clubs will be heading straight for him, but as he has only just transferred, and for a crazy fee, don't expect to be able to pick him up for a while.
