EA Sports have announced their latest Team of the Week, with the first Irish player included since the game's release.
Wolves' Matt Doherty put in a stellar performance at the weekend, scoring the opening goal in his side's 2-0 win at home to Watford.
Doherty's form last season earned him a spot in the coveted FIFA 19 Premier League Team of the Season. If he continues performing like he did against Watford, there's no reason why he couldn't replicate it this season.
Other notable players in the TOTW include Riyad Mahrez, who was rewarded for his stellar display against Everton. Also, Bayer Leverkusen's Kai Havertz notched a goal in a man of the match performance against Augsburg in the Bundesliga. Finally, Leicester City's Wilfried Ndidi will be a Premier League team's midfield general of choice with an exemplary card. Ndidi starred in Leicester's demolition of Newcastle, and this card is just reward for his performance.
