After a hectic weekend of action at the FIFA eWorld Cup in London's O2 Arena, Saudi Arabia's 'Msdossary' is the new World Champion for 2018.
Claiming the exquisite trophy and $250,000 USD prize-money, 'Msdossary' was the outstanding player in a tournament that brought the very best from all over the world.

Coming into today's action, only four players remained: Saudi Arabia's 'Msdossary', Belgium's 'StefanoPinna', Denmark's 'Marcuzo' and France's 'kurt0411.'
With the semi-finals taking place earlier this afternoon, 'Msdossary' made short work of his French opponent; winning 8-3 to set himself up as the outstanding favourite heading into this evening's final.
In the other semi-final, 'Marcuzo' and 'StefanoPinna' played out a far more competitive tie.
Across the two legs of their semi-final tie, both players won one each by a score of 2-1. Taking the tie to extra-time, it was the Belgian 'StefanoPinna' who grabbed a 1-0 win to push his way into the FIFA eWorld Cup final.
What a run for @Marcuzo45 in the #FIFAeWorldCup... all the way to the semi-finals but it ends here...

Well .. right now it’s very difficult to see the positive things. I felt I could’ve won the semi final, and also the whole tournament, but sadly it just wasn’t meant to be and that’s how fifa is. Everything just feels very empty. Thanks for the support. @ManCity pic.twitter.com/qsNm8uZxi6

In the Grand Final, 'Msdossary' never really looked too troubled in his match-up against the Belgian. Taking the lead early on, he would push on to claim a convincing 4-0 win.

For such a spectacular day of FIFA eWorld Cup action, Ireland's David Meyler was amongst those who turned up in London's O2 arena in search of a game.
