After a hectic day of action at the 2018 FIFA eWorld Cup in London's O2 arena, we are down to the final four players who will battle it out tomorrow for the right to be crowned the FIFA eWorld Cup champion, and take home the hefty sum of $250,000 USD.
On day where the group stages were completed, as well as the round of 16 and quarter-finals, our four remaining contestants come from France (kurt0411), Saudi Arabia (Msdossary), Denmark (Marcuzo) and Belgium (StefanoPinna). The reigning World Champion from England, 'Gorilla', could only make it as far as the quarter-finals; losing 4-2 to the French semi-finalist.
The defeated champion was fairly magnaimous if defeat however; determined to come back stronger ahead of next year's event.
Fair play @Kurt0411Fifa, deserved to win. Hope he goes and lifts the trophy. Great event and organisation from @FIFAeWorldCup. Time for a break from me now until FIFA 19, looking forward to the grind again!

With the exception of our semi-finalist from Denmark 'Marcuzo', the three others that remain have reached this point with relatively little fuss. From the four groups of eight players that outlined the beginning of this tournament, 'kurt0411', 'Msdossary' and 'SefanoPinna' all progressed with relative ease; winning at least 5 of their 7 games.
For the Dane, things were a little trickier. Of his 7 games played in Group D, 'Marcuzo' won 4, but was defeated in 3; his 12 points the lowest of any of those players who progressed to the round of 16 in #1 or #2 place.
In the round of 16, 'Marcuzo' squeezed through with a 4-3 win. Following that up with a 3-2 win in the quarter-final stage, the young Dane was visibly shocked and delighted to have qualified for the last 4.
That semi-final feeling... Well done, @Marcuzo45! #FIFAeWorldCup pic.twitter.com/cAIPA5rDuK

For his opponents, things have been marginally easier. 'Msdossary' looks the player to beat at the moment. Powering through his group, the Saudi Arabian followed that up with a 5-1 win, and the quarter-final 9-4 thrashing of 'MegaBit.' Certainly one to watch out for in tomorrow's FIFA eWorld Cup finale.
'kurt0411' and 'StefanoPinna' have found themselves somewhere in the middle. The Frenchman beat the aptly titled 'GoalMachine21' 9-7 in the round of 16, before edging out the reigning champion 'Gorilla' 4-2 in the quarter-final. 'StefanoPinna' eased through his last-16 clash with an 8-4 win, but, defeated the winner of Group D 'MoAubameyang' 6-5 in the next round.
With so much to play for going into the last day tomorrow, here are all the details you need.
