If you're like us then you're already counting down the days until the new FIFA video game comes out. While we're all excited about the return of street football to FIFA 20, Liverpool fans have just been given an extra reason to be enthused for the arrival of the game, with EA announcing the club as an official video game partner.
In what has been confirmed as a multi-year deal, EA SPORTS will be working with the club to produce some special Liverpool FC content for the club's social channels. Speaking about the new partnership, EA's UK and Ireland country manager, Samantha Ebelthite said:
We always strive to blur the lines between the virtual and real worlds of football. By partnering with Liverpool FC, we are delighted to continue breaking new ground, providing unrivalled authenticity to fans across the globe. It’s fantastic to become the club’s official football simulation game partner and we’re looking forward to working with the European Champions over the course of the partnership.
FIFA 20 will be released on September 27th.
