The game allows you the opportunity to manage your team's budgets, communicate with drivers during races (perhaps even implementing some team orders), dictate race strategy, decide where new resources are going, and manage transfers within your team.
The strategy and budgeting elements in particular look brilliantly detailed, and the in-race visuals look fantastic. The race presentation includes the real-world F1 TV graphics, as well as in-game commentary from Sky Sports F1 commentators David Croft and Karun Chandhok.
On top of that, the F1 Manager developers have included real-world team radio messages from the drivers on the F1 grid. The realism this brings will be next-level - if you tell Max Verstappen to move over for Sergio Perez, you can expect a typically bullish response from the Dutchman.

When it comes to signing personnel for your team, it's not just drivers that you can recruit. Sure, you may have your eyes on Lando Norris or Charles Leclerc to be the future of your team, but wouldn't it be just as worthwhile to have a great car designer on your team?
There are detailed ratings for dozens of F1 technical staff on the F1 Manager game, meaning the experience runs far deeper than simply selecting two drivers to plonk in your team's car.
Can I drive on the new F1 Manager game?
Unfortunately you are unable to drive on the F1 Manager game, but you can head to the new release from EA Sports - F1 22 - to get your driving fix, including the new generation of F1 cars, and the new track at Miami.

It comes as no surprise that defending champion Max Verstappen and seven-times champion Lewis Hamilton are the highest rated drivers on the F1 Manager game, both coming in at 90.
