EA Vancouver has announced an exciting new patch for EA Sports UFC 5, launched on January 30 .
This update, designated as Patch 1.19, will introduce UFC Flyweight Asu Almabayev to the game’s roster, alongside several important bug fixes and new alter egos for players to explore.
Players can expect a brief server downtime of approximately one hour before the patch goes live on both PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X/S.
Almabayev, a 31-year-old mixed martial artist with an impressive record of 21 wins and 2 losses, including 4 victories in the UFC, will be available just in time for his upcoming fight against Allan Nascimento on March 1.
In addition to Almabayev's addition, the update will also feature new alter egos, although details on which fighters will receive these alternate versions remain under wraps.
Players will need to purchase these alter egos from the in-game store.
The patch will also address several gameplay issues, including a fix for a bug that caused an excessive stamina drain during muscle-modified transitions, particularly affecting submissions.
Other improvements include resolving rare text layout issues in various languages and fixing clipping problems with certain clothing items and body types.
As EA Sports UFC 5 continues to evolve, this update marks another step in the ongoing support for the game, even as rumours circulate about the development of EA Sports UFC 6.
Players can look forward to the new content and improvements when the patch goes live later this month.
