Former Spurs, Real Madrid and Wales star Gareth Bale is among the eight legends included in this year's game. Bale retired shortly after the 2022 FIFA World Cup with five Champions League crowns to his name. The Welshman scored in two of those finals, including the iconic bicycle kick in the 2018 decider against Liverpool. His pace will certainly make him an enticing option for players.
Another hero of recent years is present in the game, with one of this year's EA Sports FC 25 cover stars Gianluigi Buffon among this year's group of ICONS.
The Italian legend was instrumental in his country's 2006 FIFA World Cup win and made almost 700 appearances for Juventus over two separate spells with the club. He is widely renowned as one of the greatest goalkeepers of all time.
There are four more World Cup winners included in this year's amazing group of ICONS, with Japan's Aya Miyama, US star Julie Foudy, French hero Lilian Thuram, and German goalkeeper Nadine Angerer added to EA Sports FC 25.
A hero of Swedish football, Olympique Lyonnais legend Lotta Schelin is also included in this year's batch of ICONS. The former OL forward won three Champions League crowns during her playing career and retired as her country's top scorer after helping them to third place in the 2011 FIFA World Cup.
Former France and Philadelphia Charge forward Marinette Pichon is the final addition to the EA Sports FC ICON "Class of '25."
EA Sports FC 25 will be released on September 27 2024, and can be pre-ordered right here.
