Former Republic of Ireland striker David McGoldrick has been included in the latest FIFA 23 Team of the Week, being rewarded for his recent top run of form at Derby County.
The 35-year old has put together a very impressive campaign at Pride Park, scoring a third hat-trick of the season at the weekend in Derby's 5-0 victory over Morecambe. That result moved them up to fourth position in the table.

The striker raised some eyebrows when he opted for a move to League One last summer, with many believing he was still more than capable of playing at a higher level.
While that may well be the case, he has certainly been enjoying his football at Derby. McGoldrick has scored 15 goals in all competitions this season, including three hat-tricks in his last 16 appearances.
He has now been rewarded with a place in FIFA 23's Team of the Week, appearing alongside the likes of Achraf Hakimi, Kinglsey Coman, Roben Neves, and Raphinha.

His new in-form player item is a remarkable upgrade for David McGoldrick.
Whereas his normal silver card is rated at 69-overall, his new one is a very impressive 84. It makes him the second highest-rated active Irish player in the game, just behind Seamus Coleman's centurion card.

Not bad.
Having also been moved to an attacking midfield role, he is definitely worth a go in your team.
