Whether you're like me - who ends up just flicking the right analog stick all over the place in the hope that something comes off - or you're a quality player, we all still want to know what is the best FIFA 21 skill move, to help us get those all-important win.
Now I am in no position to be offering anyone advice but one thing I do know my way around is YouTube. So I've been taking a look at what the experts are saying.
What is the best FIFA 21 skill move?
One of the best skill moves you can learn is call the "La Croqueta," and the great news is that it's really easy to learn. I first came across this move when watching YouTuber Ovvy, who was raving about its effect.
He credited fellow YouTuber, and professional FIFA player, Boras for originally pointing out the move and how good it is. And sure enough, Boras is still saying that it is probably the best skill move in the game. In one of his recent videos, he goes through a range of skills moves and still references La Croqueta as the standout.
How to perform La Croqueta
It is actually pretty simple:
- Stop the ball dead e.g. perform a standing fake shot
- Hold L1/LB and move the right analog stick either right or left in the direction you want move the ball.
The player performs and ball roll in the direction you've pushed and then accelerates forward. You can watch Boras talk through the move from 5:39 in the video below.
The video is also helpful for pointing out a few other skill moves that are really handy to have in your arsenal. The fake shot is excellent, while the humble ball roll can always get you out of a hobble.
Overall, FIFA 21 has been a lot of fun, with plenty of different ways to attack, beat defenders and score great goals. Make sure to take a look through some of our other FIFA 21 content, where we talk through some of the best Ultimate Team players, kits and much much more. You can find it all here.
