An afternoon shopping can be an ordeal for some of us but thankfully there's a brilliant opportunity to escape the monotony at Dundrum Town Centre at the moment. Visit the Virgin Media playtime hub for a memorable gaming experience that lets fans rediscover the joy of gaming in a larger than life setting over the coming weeks.
Visitors to the Dundrum Town Centre will be able to play Virgin Media's brand new game Playtime Defenders at the Virgin Media playtime hub on the big screen at the Mill Pond area over the next two weeks.
It's a really fun game with nostalgic overtones that doesn't require any serious gaming ability to be enjoyed. It's about fun and play, and given the unique setting, it's an amazing chance to press pause on your daily routine and rekindle your love for those great games of years ago.
And don't worry, you don't need to bring your console - you'll be able to play on your own smartphone by scanning a QR code.
The game is live for two weeks from today 14th Aug until 27th August in the Mill Pond area of Dundrum Town Centre.
There'll be a lot of activity around the game this Saturday, as Irish gamer Chris O'Gara will be at Dundrum from 12-2pm to play the game with other fans.
There'll also be the opportunity to win vouchers for treats in the Mill Pond area.
If you can't get to Dublin, don't worry. There'll be similar activations taking place across the country in the coming months, including one in Tralee this Sunday, the 20th of August.
If you want to show off your gaming skills in a big way and break free from boredom, be sure to pop into this gaming hub over the next two weeks.
