It's the most wonderful time of the year if you're a FIFA player, as the Team of the Year campaign is in full swing.
The FIFA TOTY puts the player in control of who gets upgraded, with voting open on EA's website.
Football, like most things, is a game of opinions, so we got some insight from two Aarons on who they would choose in their TOTY from 70 of the world's best.

Shamrock Rovers midfielder Aaron McEneff took on Brighton and Ireland striker Aaron Connolly in a guessing game to find out who the other had picked in the Team of the Year.
The victor was, of course, whoever could guess the most players. However, the more players that were guessed, the more copies of FIFA 21 that can be given away to Balls.ie readers (keep an eye out on our socials for more information on that giveaway).
Aaron Connolly was first up to the mark, with 40 seconds on the clock to guess Aaron McEneff's side.
The Brighton striker started hot, and by 20 seconds he had nine of McEneff's 11 players.
However, Connolly came unstuck with McEneff's left-back selection and one of his attackers. Despite help, he couldn't add to his total of 9/11, missing out on Bayern Munich's Alphonso Davies and PSG's Kylian Mbappe.

Next up, Aaron McEneff knew that he had nine to beat, with his reputation and copies of FIFA 21 on the line.
In an identical fashion to his competitor, McEneff blitzed to 9/11 by the halfway mark, leaving just a striker and left-winger on the board.
The Shamrock Rovers midfielder was then given help by both the supposedly impartial host and his competitor, with hints being given to allow McEneff to get Liverpool's Sadio Mane and Borussia Dortmund's Erling Haaland at the death.
On the choice of Erling Haaland, Connolly stated that he had to pick the Norwegian on his goalscoring record alone.
"Every game, I go on Flashscore to look at Borussia Dortmund's results and I just see Haaland four [goals] and Haaland three [goals], I couldn't not pick him in that team because his record his just unbelievable."
