EA Sports FC 25 is here and millions upon millions of gamers are flocking to build their Ultimate Teams.
It's always been known that some of the best players in real life aren't necessarily the best players to use in FC or its previous iteration FIFA. For the most part, players with high pace stats, good shooting and dribbling are the most sought after while slower players aren't really wanted even if they are great at other aspects.
Now EA have done more to take a bit less of the emphasis off pace and dribbling but there's always going to be those meta players who are in everyone's teams because of their pace, dribbling and skill moves.
Now obviously the highest rated players like Kylian Mbappé, Erling Haaland and Caroline Graham Hansen are all great players how are great to use in the game but this list is some of the best players to use that don't have the highest overalls but are good in key stats in the game.
10 META Players To Use On Ultimate Team In EA Sports FC 25
Federico Valverde- 405K
Valverde yet again has a ridiculous card to begin EA Sports FC 25 with all his base stats over 80. With 4 star weak foot to boost Valverde is one of the most prized assets to have in your starter squads
Marcos Llorente- 16.5K
Yet again the Atletico Madrid man is one of the most popular players in the game upon release. A jack of all trades, Llorente can cover every position down the right as well as CM so it shouldn't be a task to fit him in your squad. He's a cheaper option if you don't want to go for Valverde and there's minimal difference between the pair.
Sophia Smith- 284K
One of the most expensive women in the game at the minute Sophia Smith's card in FC 25 is absolutely insane. 93 pace, 86 shooting and 89 dribbling with 5 star weak foot, Smith is one of the most complete strikers in the game.
Micky van de Ven- 55.5K
Pacy defenders are always in high demand and there's none more popular than Tottenham's Micky van de Ven. He may be only 82 rated but with 88 pace no forward will be able to get past him.
Federico Chiesa- 125K
The now Liverpool winger may be behind Mo Salah in the pecking order at Anfield but he may be first choice for many gamers this week with his ludicrous 93 pace along with 4 stars skill moves and weak foot. A must have for starter squads.
Rafael Leão- 392K
AC Milan may not have official licensing in EA Sports FC 25 but that doesn't mean Leão still isn't in high demand. The quick Portuguese forward can play in ST and with his 5 star skill moves he looks impossible to defend against.
Sandro Tonali- 58K
The Newcastle man feels like a brand new signing this year after serving his 10-month ban an he's back in EA Sports FC 25 as well. He's got a very solid 85 rated card and is definitely a player you should consider for your first team on Ultimate Team.
Ferland Mendy- 112K
The Real Madrid left back has always been a must have for any team and it's no different this year. Be prepared to see a lot of the Frenchman this year.
Kadidiatou Diani- 68K
Olympique Lyonnais have traditionally had a very strong women's team and there's not many better players on the team than Diani. There's very little that Diani can't do for you in the game and if you don't want to go for nearly 1 million coins-priced Caroline Graham Hansen then Diani is a great backup.
Loïs Openda- 45.25K
The Belgian is one of the brightest prospects in Europe and he has a card to match that potential. With blistering pace and solid shooting Openda is great value at just over 45K.
