The race for the footballer of the week has been a hotly contested one, with two players emerging from poll as leading candidates.
It was a tale of the two half forwards as Donegal's Odhran MacNiallais and Kerry's Stephen O'Brien raced to the top of the vote. In the end, the Kerryman reigned victorious with 34% of the vote.
O'Brien shone in a dominant performance by the All-Ireland champions against Kildare, racking up a personal tally of 1-4.
Meanwhile, Mac Niallais was also well supported at 27% while Bernard Brogan's vote surged late on to pull him up 26%, just one percent behind the Donegal player. Mac Niallais' teammate Colm McFadden produced perhaps his best performance of the year so far but he only amassed 13% in this week's vote.
Perhaps the corner forward will feature in next week's vote, with Donegal taking on Mayo in what promises to be the match of the summer this Saturday evening, with Monaghan v Tyrone making up a mouthwatering double header.
