(Sorry Galway fans, too soon?)
We thought the GAA Snapchat of the year contest had been wrapped up but, in terms of relevance and timeliness, this may be in with a shout.
Rumours of Kilkenny's blasé attitude to All Ireland wins have been greatly exaggerated. Those of us from football strongholds have long been regaled with stories of how 'hurling is a religion' in Kilkenny and it's 'in the blood'.
Those kind of clichés begin to loose effect after a while. But just in case anyone was in any doubt about just how much passion remains in Kilkenny after their 11th All-Ireland since then turn of the millennium then here you go.
They're actually worshipping Liam McCarthy.
We'd like to think that the parish had become the first one in Kilkenny to just throw away all pretence and genuinely start worshipping the hurling gods but it seems Liam was there for an even better reason.
St Canice's parish was holding a Month's Mind for one of Kilkenny's biggest fans and Liam was brought along to mark the occasion in a particularly special way.
Big thanks to Ann Hoyne for sharing.
