The GAA has launched an initiative today to save what one could logically argue is Ireland's greatest gift to world culture. We agree with the GAA on one point: hurling needs saving. We don't think the creation of development boards or the allocation to sports scientists to minor hurling counties will do much for the game, but nobody asked us. But we were impressed by the minibus in the background of photos of Christy Cooney today. Get that thing to Mayo ASAP.
