The Sunday Game named Dublin midfielder Brian Fenton as their choice for the All-Ireland football final Man of the Match. Fenton scored the opening point of the game in a standout performance.
It has been a remarkable rise for the player this year, he only made his first senior start for Dublin in a league game back in April.
The Raheny man was also named in the Sunday Game's Team of the Year.
The other two nominees for the Man of the Match award were also both Dublin players - Rory O'Carroll and Philly McMahon - reflecting the poor showing by Kerry in the final.
