Kilkenny are our of the Leinster hurling championship after Wexford put in a fantastic performance en route to a 1-20 to 3-11 win.
With so much focus on Davy Fitzgerald with his sideline ban up at midnight, he masterminded Wexford's win from his box side claimed a historic win, but it was not without it's tense moments.
The Cats looked to be getting into the swing of things in the second half as a seven point lead was chipped down to just a single point, but Wexford showed great strength of character to keep their compose and keep playing their game.
The pitch was stormed at full-time by Wexford's jubilant fans, who can now look forward to a final against Offaly or Galway, knowing that they'll have Davy on the sideline for that massive game.
While the whole team put in a superb shift, Lee Chin was singled out by many on Twitter, as was John Mullane for his commentary, it seems.
YES!! We win, 1-20 to 3-11, @InnovateCloud erupts, Davy's ban is over in 3 hours and it's the back door, the cat flap for KK!

Christ the dragging and pulling back would have drove me nuts on the field. Cheeky by Wexford but ref hasn't warned the side enough #WEXvKIL
