Horeswood won a dramatic Wexford U13 division 3 hurling final against Askamore at St Patrick's Park on Sunday afternoon.
In a breathless final 90 seconds of extra-time, the two sides combined for three goals with Horeswood eventually winning by two points on a scoreline of 4-10 to 3-11.
Congratulations to the under 13 hurlers who beat Askamore 4-10 to 3-11 after extra time in a most exciting finish

Horeswood had been down by a point before they scored the first of those three goals, going ahead by two - 3-10 to 2-11. It prompted celebrations from subs and supporters but those were short-lived.
From the puck-out, Askamore won a free at midfield. The puck dropped short of the goal but was struck to the net. That put Askamore back up by a point.
But the climax was yet to come. In a moment which elicits thoughts of Shane Long's 2014 goal against Germany, a monster Horeswood puck-out went long over the Askamore defence.
The Shane Long of the scenario picked the ball from the floor and raced towards goal with teammates bouncing on the sideline. Despite being pushed away from goal by the Askamore goalkeeper and a defender, he still brilliantly found the net for the winning score.
On the Friday evening before the game, Waterford legend John Mullane had done a training session with the Horeswood panel. The finish was one he would have been proud of.
Of all the County Finals we've played this has to be the most dramatic and exciting finish. pic.twitter.com/XqDr4AQbsu
