It's gone beyond all levels of madness. The Clare football championship seems to have found itself in right mess with the winner of Saturday's county final, between Cratloe and Doonbeg, scheduled to play their Munster semi-final the following day.
Winners of Saturday's Clare football final have to play their Munster semi-final the next day! Treatment of our club players beyond a joke

Last week Conor Deegan told us how Ballyboden St Endas in Dublin played nine matches in 32 weeks this season and then 11 games in 10 weeks. Granted both these examples are from counties that have won All-Irelands this year but that's a lazy excuse to make for a fixtures calender that makes absolutely no sense.
Had counties winning the All-Ireland come as some sort of surprise to the GAA? How long can this lunacy go on?
