McAteer told the Star today that he'd back Kerry in the All-Ireland final and lost a 'fortune' when Cluxton's free gave Dublin the win.
"They were going really well up to five minutes to go when it got tight, and then in the last minute Dublin got a free and Stephen Cluxton comes running up and just kicks me in the knackers.
"He might well have me rather than put the ball over the posts. Obviously Dublin went on and won and cost me a fortune.
"It felt the same - like he'd given me another right hook!"
He'd have lost the money if there was a draw, but we get the point.
