Waterford put in an outstanding performance today in winning the All-Ireland Under 21 hurling title in Semple Stadium by a scoreline of 5-15 to 0-14 over Galway.
And the Bennett brothers from Ballysaggart were a main factor in that victory. Full-forward Stephen got two absolutely outrageous goals and set up one for Shane which wasn't bad either.
Stephen's first goal was set up by an exquisite flick from corner forward Patrick Curran. "Samba hurling", as the TG4 commentator called it.
Shane rolled in the second, which wasn't bad either.
And if you want to hear what witnessing incredible hurling can do to a man, just listen to the commentator's fairly orgasmic reaction to Stephen's spectacular second, and Waterford's fifth.
Are we entering the era of 'Samba hurling'? On the evidence of the Waterford U21s this year, let's hope so....
Commiserations to @TipperaryGAA but they fell to some @WaterfordGAA magic tonight! #BGEU21 #ProudSponsor pic.twitter.com/UIOptJ6uMX
