If you missed the round one qualifier meeting between Waterford and Derry earlier, we don't blame you, but you may have missed what will undoubtedly be the biggest GAA saga of the 2017 season.
Waterford were forced to play in their training tops.

Both teams in change kits, as pointed out by Newstalk's Peadar Breathnach, in Championship games if there is a colour clash, both teams wear the change strip.

Waterford apparently do not have a registered alternate kit, hence the use of a training top. Which is fair enough when you consider only three other counties have white home jerseys (Tyrone, Kildare and Monaghan).
According to Twitter jersey expert 'Museum of Jerseys', it's the first time Waterford's men's side have had to change from white in living memory.
