The sentimental Christmas ad has become par for the course over the past few years. We now know we're allowed to celebrate Christmas when a piano starts twinkling and someone is signing an overly sad cover of a song that everyone had long forgot.
Elverys Intersport haven't gone for the soppy song, they've done much better than that. They've only gone a got Aidan O'Shea onto an underage pitch and made him dominate anyone who dares come near him. Brutal attempts to catch the high ball, even worse defending and an almost non-existent goalkeeper, it's almost as if the kids don't even want to stop a fully grown Aidan O'Shea. Great stuff.
We'll be seeing plenty of it on our screens in the run up to Christmas and we're fully expecting to enjoy it every time we do.
