Wexford U20s fell to a 1-15 to 0-11 loss today at Wexford Park against Dublin, but the day belonged to Fern St. Aidan's club man Ivan Meegan who kicked an incredible 0-4 despite playing in goals.
Meegan's four points, including a monster from play, marked the latest move in the development of fly-goalkeepers within Gaelic football. Fresh from landing a superb 63 yard free, Meegan drove from his square and found himself in space in Dublin's half and slotted an excellent score. It was captured by Wexford Today.

Wexford had led by 0-3 at halftime but failed to kick on. For Dublin 1-3 from Ross McGarry and a fine impact off the bench for Naomh Olaf club man Tom Keane, who kicked 0-4, ultimately proved the difference. The result puts Dublin through to the semi-finals of the inaugural EirGrid Leinster U20 football championship.
