Form Guide
Frankly, Tyrone have underwhelmed so far this season. After a disappointing Ulster Championship, Tyrone are still struggling to find any form finishing third in their All-Ireland group. They lost to an admittedly very strong Galway side before just barely beating Armagh by two points. While those two results were somewhat predictable, Tyrone only managed a draw against Westmeath last weekend after Westmeath missed a last-gasp free to win the game.
Similarly, Donegal have struggled to impress this season, they started the season slowly with nearly everyone their superior in Ulster. However, they're slowly finding their form, they finished second in their All-Ireland group, only losing to table-toppers Derry. While they were expected to beat Clare, their win against Monaghan was much more impressive, with the side showing true steel and metal to grasp a two-point win in what was a phenomenal game. It's possible they're beginning to bare the fruits of their mid-season managerial change now.
Very little separates these two sides and I'd expect it to be very close this weekend. However, Tyrone are still just about the favourites, with their performances significantly better than Donegal's throughout the season. Despite that, don't be surprised if Donegal defies the odds and get another unlikely win this Saturday.
