Thurles Sarsfields quest for a fifth Tipperary Senior Hurling Championship lives on after a dramatic 2-14 to 1-16 victory over Kilruane MacDonaghs in their quarter-final clash last weekend.
Thurles won thanks to the last puck of the game, curiosity of a superb pluck and smash from Tipperary star Ronan Maher.

Opposing Maher was 2010 All-Ireland winner Seamus Hennessy. Earlier this year, Maher demonstrated his remarkable sideline cut ability and now it was Hennessy's turn as the talented wing-forward landed a monster effort during the second half.

The semi-final pairings are confirmed and will see Thurles Sarsfields take on Nenagh Éire Óg and Toomevara play Clonoulty-Rossmore.
