The Allianz League Division 2 is set for an enthralling finish with Roscommon and Cavan tied on points at the top with Tipperary just behind but with a game in hand. Roscommon went top thanks to a 0-15 to 0-13 win over their promotion rivals this weekend, but it could have been more if not for a superb save by Raymond Galligan.
The Cavan shot-stopper denied a certain goal in the second-half as Roscommon looked to launch a final quarter comeback.

Galligan's heroics could only do so much as Ciarain Murtagh's 0-5 proved all the difference. Cavan's future is still in their own hands as they face Tipperary at home in the final round of games as they look to return to Division One.
