One of the great enigmas of Gaelic football is underway. To many outside of Kerry, their Senior Football Championship is a mystery. Even more so when they're told of another competition titled the Kerry Senior Club Championship.
On Sunday, divisional side Mid Kerry took on Kilcummin.
Lining out for Mid Kerry were Kingdom stars such as Donnchadh Walsh, Darran O'Sullivan, Pa Kilkenny and Peter Crowley.
Last year, Crowley's Laune Rangers were relegated from the Senior Football Championship. It means the All-Star this year will line out for Mid Kerry.
Yesterday, the half-back was one of the stars for Mid Kerry as they defeated Kilcummin by five points on a scoreline of 3-12 to 1-13.
Crowley scored a superb goal, picking the ball up inside his own half and laying it off twice before firing past 2015 All-Star keeper Brendan Kealy.
