After another crushing disappointment in an All Ireland final, you could forgive Mayo fans for feeling like it's never going to happen for them, but that just wouldn't be Mayo.
Despite the pain caused by Dean Rock's match-winning free the Mayo supporters turned out in their thousands to welcome their team home at MacHale Park on Monday afternoon.
It was clear to see how grateful Stephen Rochford and his players were for the support as they addressed the audience and vowed to face up to this setback as they gear up to go after it once again next year.

They'll never give up, you have to give them that.
The fans that RTÉ interviewed early in that clip showed the exact character that the players will have to show to bounce back, as they felt the need to go out and show how proud they were despite falling short at the final hurdle.
They'll deal with it and go again, and if there was any doubt over that then an email we received at Balls HQ late last night quickly put those thoughts to bed.
Respect to the Mayo fan who emailed Balls at 5.42am with nothing but "Mayo for Sam" in the subject header.
