An incredible three-minute spell where Waterford's U21 hurlers scored 1-03 launched them to success in the Munster U21 final on Wednesday evening against Tipperary, with the highlight being a sublime assist from Stephen Bennett.
Peter Hogan was on the receiving end of the delightful flick and he hammered home to give Waterford an eight-point lead over Tipperary with eight minutes to play. It was Waterford's second goal after Stephen Bennett scored earlier in the game, but it was his pass to Hogan for the second goal that stole the show.
It was simply delicious to be fair.
Magnificent.
That purple patch of play with around 10 minutes to play was enough to get Waterford over the line as they would hold on to win by a final score of 2-19 to 0-15.
