There's a theory often bandied about social media that this legendary Dublin team are joyless robots. Their greatness has definitely made the sport less competitive, sure, but that's not their fault. The idea that they don't enjoy winning is disproven annually by videos on social media of the team soaking in victory.
Lockdown has made postmatch celebrations in Coppers impossible, so this year, the triumphant Dublin team celebrated without Sam Maguire in the bowels of Croke Park. Some videos have surfaced of the traditional postmatch sing-song, and they're brilliant. The peak was a stirring roar-along to Damian Dempsey's 'Apple of My Eye' from his legendary 'Seize The Day' album.

But what's even better is the shenanigans that immediately proceeded the singing, for the song's trad intro: Brian Howard, Johnny Cooper and (we believe) Paul Mannion in Riverdance mode.

The Dublin footballers don't often let their guard down but you can see the strength of their collective, and their non-serious side. It's good to see it.
And with all that said, here's a bit of Damo from Vicar Street just because.
