Limerick and Kilkenny produced a thrilling All-Ireland quarter-final at Semple Stadium today that saw John Kiely’s side win 1-22 to 0-27.
It was a superb affair which saw Limerick score 0-24 from play and it was decided by their bench as substitutes Peter Casey and Shane Dowling came on to hit back-to-back late scores and push their side ahead.
The excitement proved all too much for an onlooking Michael Lyster, who was forced to explain why he was wearing a different jacket post-match.
Do you know how exciting that match actually was, at the end of it I put on somebody else's jacket!
