Dublin secured a place in the All-Ireland Ladies' final in the most dramatic of circumstances, with a buzzer-beating free-kick at Breffni Park in Cavan to win an absurdly entertaining semi-final against Mayo by a solitary point (2-10 to 1-12).
Cora Staunton - appearing in her 22nd Championship season for Mayo - was triple-marked by the Dublin defence, which restricted her to 0-8, all but two points from play. (The verb restricted is applicable here only to Staunton, such are her amazing levels of performance).
The game swung back and forth wildly before eventually settling on the theatre of a final-minute free-kick for Dublin.
As with all of the great games, it was live on Tg4, that's how it unfolded, as Sinead Aherne scored the final of her 2-6 (!) with the final act of a game that, amidst all of the chaos, managed to take the form of a kind of formal drama.
Here's the final moments, replete with reactions at either end of victory's capricious scale:
Magnificent.
Stunning! Literally the last kick of the game from Sinead Aherne gives #Dublin a one point win over #Mayo in All-Ireland semi final #LGFA
