Aside from being one of the funniest men this island has produced, Dara Ó Briain is also a big sports fan.
When he's not moaning about his beloved Arsenal and their fondness for fourth place, he's keeping up with the GAA, so when he was asked to participate in a photoshoot to promote the upcoming cricket series between Ireland and England at Lord's, he brought his hurley and sliotar along too.
A comedy moment came out of the shoot when Ó Briain was asked to strike the sliotar over the photographer, but instead planted one right on his head.
Immaculate!
Great stuff.
Interestingly the video is titled 'Dara Ó Briain's Hurling Fail' on Lord's official Facebook page.. Looks like a win to us.
The comedian himself described the shot as possibly the best strike in hurling history as he tweeted after the fact.
Possibly the greatest strike in the history of hurling, and at @homeofcricket too! Was it a fluke? You can decide. (yes, btw.) https://t.co/pEdopohNJ7

This is why I was playing hurling at Lord's btw. Ireland play England in a one-day series for the first time this year... https://t.co/VVaICmpqcS

The photographer was fine, apart from a bump on the head, and like all good photographers was thankful that nothing happened to his equipment.
Luckily my head got in the way of it damaging anything of real value. https://t.co/ivUVKiumJ3
