Let's call a spade a spade here, Josh Pray knows what he's at. He has found a captivated audience and he's making the most of it. But even the most cynical of us cannot but crack a smile at his analysis of the weekend's All-Ireland hurling semi-finals.
The American comedian - who went viral after posting a video about the quarter-finals - was as blown away by Kilkenny vs Limerick and Tipperary vs Wexford as the rest of us:
"In 34 years of my life never would I have thought that a group of people, holding a stick, running with a ball and hitting it like a baseball at the same time would get me this amped up, this excited! I have no stake in nobody's country, I have no stake in nobody's town; Kilkenny, I'm happy for you all, but I hurt for Lime-rick, I hurt deep down inside for Lime-rick!"
Pray's pronunciation of Limerick and Tipperary is particularly entertaining, and he's in no doubt that we're in for a hell of an All-Ireland final:
August 18th is going to be one of the craziest finals because I watched the 'Tippery' dudes beat the Wexford dudes, and that game came to down the end, and I was ripping off my clothes, I was butt naked shouting 'Is this how hurling is every single time they get together!?
This is like the Super Bowl of the Super Bowls. It's like Mother Earth met Planet Earth and they smashed together and hurling was born!
In the Twitter highlights of his full YouTube video he then starts campaigning the US TV companies to air Kilkenny vs Tipperary in three weeks time.
