In 2013, Roy Keane was pictured at at Croke Park alongside much-maligned football presenter Adrian Chiles to watch Limerick play Clare in hurling. Chiles and Keane worked together on ITV's football coverage and apparently Chiles was keen to watch a game.
Now with the BBC, Adrian Chiles was evidently taken with the spectacle. He recently took part in a training session with Slaughtneil in what may be a bid to help the Ulster champions prepare for their upcoming All-Ireland semi-final. The comical video features Chiles attempts at pucking a ball as well as goalkeeping.
Hurling champions @GACSlaughtneil have a new star... well, maybe not 'star'.

Chiles was actually appearing as part of Christine and Adrian's Friendship Test which will air tonight BBC1 and BBC Northern Ireland at 7.30 tonight.
Chiles consulted with Roy Keane in preparation for his cameo, with Keane taking time out of his preparations for Ireland's crucial World Cup Qualifier tonight to respond.
Even Roy Keane's lesson wasn't enough to help Adrian.

Given this performance, Chiles is unlikely to feature for Slaughtneil in their upcoming All-Ireland semi-final.
