Limerick ladies sealed Lidl Ladies National Football League Division 4 glory in Clane on Saturday, with captain Dymphna O’Brien and 18-year-old Niamh Holland starring in a 4-8 to 1-10 victory over Antrim.
It was the latter who rounded off the scoring with a stunning strike - her second goal of the game - just moments after returning from the sin-bin.
Indeed, according to the Examiner's Jackie Cahill, it was Holland's first possession since re-emerging from the sideline.
After a powerful break from Treaty woman Niamh Richardson, Holland unleashed a boom-missile from range to cap a glorious team goal that all-but sealed victory for Limerick.
Limerick had lost three of the last six Division 4 deciders before Saturday's victory.
At just 18, they may have unearthed a genuine star in the two-goal Holland. Dymphna O'Brien added her own 2-5 to an emphatic, seven-point victory for the Shannon-siders.
