Over the last few weeks we've been figuratively travelling around the counties, asking people to vote for their team's footballer of the year. Well, now the time has come to crown the overall Gaelic footballer of the year, outside of the top six teams that usually hog all the limelight.
We want to pay tribute to players from the counties that probably won't feature on the list of nominations for this year's All-Stars. The lads who put in the hard yards all summer but unfortunately will probably not live in the memories of those who crown the actual player of the year. That award may be left to be contested by the likes of Monaghan, Tyrone, Donegal, Dublin, Kerry and Mayo but why should they hog all the limelight?
So the decision is up to you. Vote below for who you think was the footballer of the year outside of the top six.
