Will Ferrell has evidently been indoctrinated by the good people of Hill 16 at some stage in his life because in a quite scandalous video released on FM104's facebook page, he has had a pop at the county of Meath - and by extension the people of Meath.
It's clear from the video that Ferrell hates Meath with all the ferocity of a square-jawed Dublin forward from the early 90s.
Why has he done this and why now?
Perhaps he's angling for the role of next James Bond and is trying desperately to undermine the far more viable candidature of Mick Lyons. We have already provided an exceptionally persuasive catalogue of reasons as to why Lyons is only obvious choice for the role of 007 once Daniel Craig hangs up hi Martini (see here).
No one from either the Meath County Council or the Meath Chamber of Commerce has issued a response. We imagine they're fielding calls from TMZ all afternoon.
