Wexford vs Offaly in the Leinster u21 championship semi-final delivered some pretty impressive talking points last night. First and foremost was the quite simply sensational team goal that Wexford scored on the way to a 2-16 to 1-12 victory.
However, if that wasn't enough then we also had one of the GAA's most loved individuals. The lurker. Remember these two buckos from last year?
We thought they were the highpoint of the GAA's tradition of finding fellas to stand behind analysts and do nothing other than make themselves known to the country by standing there looking like spare parts. The two Tipperary buckos now have a challenger for their crown.
Presenting the Offaly bucko.
Why is there always one gem who thinks he needs to lurk & hover in view of camera? This guy is super! #BGEU21 #GAABEO pic.twitter.com/CGRqGxdpHL

He's obviously just looking for attention and we're more than happy to give it to. He was standing there for almost nine minutes and it was just wonderful. This is the kind of mindless nonsense that makes this country great.
Here's a sped up GIF of some of his highlights.
And here's all 9 minutes of him for you to peruse at your leisure and see how long he could stick around for.
