Wexford hurler Diarmuid Lyng has created a brilliant promotional video entitled 'Hurling Around The World' to bring awareness to World Sports Team, a new initiative which aims to give support to sportspeople who have suffered debilitating injuries.
Lyng set off on a 17 month journey in late 2010 and, hurl in hand, captured footage of him in plenty of iconic locations. With the help of some of Ireland's most well known sportspeople, such as Paul McGrath and Brian O'Driscoll, Lyng's project is complete and it has been put to good use in aid of World Sports Team, which you can find out more about (and get involved) here.
