It's been far too long. Legendary TG4 series 'Underdogs' is making its much-anticipated return to our television screens at 9.30pm tonight.
The premise of the show is to find footballers around the country who have been over-looked by their county teams. They will form a panel that will be trained by some well-known faces to take on an inter-county team on the pitch.
This year the group will be mentored by Kerry legend Paul Galvin, Galway's Ray Silke and 10-time All-Ireland winner with Cork Valerie Mulcahy.

The show has been away for a decade, so a whole generation of people will be experiencing its brilliance for the first time.
In the past the show has unearthed gems such as Kerry's Kieran Donaghy and Cork's Pearse O'Neill, both of whom went on to win All-Irelands. Hopefully we see some new stars take shape on our screens over the next few weeks.
