Once again, Kerry did just enough to avoid relegation and no more after drawing in Omagh yesterday.
Tyrone's alleged negativity over the course of the League, particularly in Castlebar and Croke Park, enraged the purists and prompted Joe Brolly to call for Mickey Harte to be sacked.
But Declan Bogue tweeted out a statistic which challenges the tired notion that Ulster is the source of all the evils in the game and simultaneously implies that Kerry and assorted non-Ulster counties benefit from favourable coverage.
34 fouls by Kerry yesterday. 14 by Tyrone. Don't expect that to get too much airing.

Brolly wasn't long latching on.
@DeclanBogue they are extremely cynical in the middle third. The drag back/hold is a central plank of their game plan

One twitter user (sardonically) asked for Bogue to refrain from tweeting such blasphemy.
@DeclanBogue @stephencampbe13 Kerry never foul never mind cynically foul. It's not in their DNA. Go say 3 Hail Mickos and 2 Our Goochs

One Kerry supporter had another explanation for the damning statistic.
@DeclanBogue @JoeBrolly1993 not surprised when Joe McQuillan is refereeing Try and watch it without an anti Kerry bias He was shocking

Brolly dismissed that complaint.
@GriofaM @DeclanBogue at Celtic Park they fouled in the middle third 100% of the time, if they were close enough. It is automatic.

@EoinPoil @DeclanBogue @johnnyoconn Didn't you know? it's only puke football when Kerry aren't playing it
