Sigerson Cup champions UCC lead the way in this year's Electric Ireland GAA Higher Education Rising Stars 2023 Football Team of the Year with six players recognised for their performances in the competition.
After extra-time, UCC defeated UL in the final to claim their first title since 2019. The beaten finalists have five players on the team while beaten semi-finalists DCU and TU Dublin have two each.
Players from eight counties - Clare, Cork, Kerry, Leitrim, Mayo, Meath, Offaly and Wexford - are included.
The Electric Ireland Higher Education GAA Rising Star Hurling and Football Player of the Year will be announced at the Higher Education Awards Ceremony on Monday, 3rd April.
