Since Tyrone were eliminated from the championship against Roscommon in the preliminary round, there has been a lot of speculation surrounding the management's future.
Before the defeat, the Red Hand county had just recorded back to back wins for the first time since 2021, young players making their debut season had really stepped up, and Roscommon were seen as a favourable draw for the Ulster side.
Victory against the Rossies would have made it three wins on the bounce, and a quarter-final place secured in Croke Park which would have been good progress from last year considering all of the changes in personnel.
However Healy Park was rocked when the Connacht side knocked the 2021 All-Ireland champions out of the championship.
Joint managers Brian Dooher and Feargal Logan both signed a three-year contract last season, but since then Dooher has taken on a massive job as Northern Ireland's Chief Veterinary Officer, while Logan has been battling with health problems.
Former Tyrone star and current coach Joe McMahon has said that he and the management are currently considering their positions.
“Things are still a bit raw in the sense of the defeat, and Brian and Feargal and everybody involved will use this time to think and reflect and see where they go next. Time will tell on that one,” McMahon told The Irish Examiner.
“I’ll use this time to see where I’m at, and I think it will be a group decision. I think the reality is there. There has been a big turnover of players.
“In the aftermath of 2021, players had left for a variety of reasons, but the show goes on, and boys have come in and taken the opportunity.
“And other fellows are there, are still young, and will get their chance in due course.”

The team that lifted the Sam Maguire in '21 was made up with a lot of the U21 All-Ireland winning team from 2015, and a lot of them are hitting their 30 mark now.
Older players like Mattie Donnelly and Peter Harte may also be considering their future, as they have been wearing the white and red jersey for well over a decade now, and some retirements could be on the cards.
“Possibly. That’s’ a decision for those men involved, and whoever it might be, they owe Tyrone nothing.
“In the aftermath of any defeat, there’s a lot of emotions, and it’s a time now to reflect and see how things went for them this year as individuals and as a group.
“But foremost in all of those decisions has to be themselves and their families, and I’m sure, whatever decisions they come to, it will be for the right reasons."
The good news for Tyrone fans is that Niall Morgan, who has had an outstanding season, has confirmed that he won't be retiring and will be available for selection in 2025.
The Ulster county has also won two u20 All-Ireland titles in the last three years, so there is a brilliant crop of players coming through, it's just a question of who will be in charge to guide their development?
